This is a quality Bible dictionary with clear and concise articles and wonderful illustrations. Right now I'm going to Bible school, and this dictionary has been a consistent help on every topic where I have found an article, and I'm frequently surprised by the topics I find that I've never even thought of! The articles address places, names, books of the Bible, theological topics, or general biblical words or ideas. The cover, arrangement of the text, pictures, and the gloss of the pages is outstanding.This book should not be viewed as highly scholarly; it does not provide the names of each author for each article, nor does it provide bibliographic suggestions for further study; but it does give quality information on each topic addressed, very nicely presented.This is a welcome addition to my library, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a resource or study aid made at this level.
The book is good with no complaint. I'm just curious why there is a blue line drawn by a sharpie marker on the lower ridge. It's not printed. I'm sure it's drawn by hand. I also bought Baker's Bible Handbook and Baker's Bible Commentary. There is always such a line hand drawn by a blue sharpie marker on the lower ridge of the book. I bought all these three Baker's books from three different sellers on Amazon.

This is a great resource. I purchased the Kindle edition for portability. Works great for that purpose but navigating the dictionary in Kindle version is cumbersome.
The dictionary has been extremely helpful. I highly recommend it to all.
This is such a good book for Bible study. There is all kinds of information in it about places, people and things from the Bible. A MUST have for people who want to understand the Bible better.
